Also, all the characters frequently burst into song. Play it alongside the clay models from this stop-motion musical adventure game! DOMINIQUE PAMPLEMOUSSE 2 A preview demo of the forthcoming sequel, Dominique Pamplemousse and Dominique Pamplemousse in "Combinatorial Explosion!" CONVERSATIONS WE HAVE IN MY HEAD Many of us have voices in our heads that constantly remind us of our perceived failures and inadequacies. Sometimes, those voices appear to us in the form of a once-important, now-estranged person from our past. This is a game about having one of those conversations with that voice in your head, in real time, and the many ways it can go. FITZWILLIAM DARCY'S DANCE CHALLENGE It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife, and that finding such a wife tends to involve a whole lot of dancing. Now, in this ballroom dancing simulator, you too can waltz your way into the heart of Mr. Darcy, the fabulously smouldering (and equally acerbic) leading man of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice! Just make sure you don't fall flat on your face in the process. INTERRUPTION JUNCTION Hey, kids! Do you ever feel like if you don’t speak up — and speak up often — you’ll literally disappear? Do you ever feel like if you do speak up, everything you have to say is trivial and pointless and no one cares? If so, you’ll love Interruption Junction, a short one-button conversation game about being lonely in a group of people! If not… well, I envy you. MOST SINCERE GREETINGS, ESTEEMED ONE Developed with Jessica Rose Marcotte (@jekagames) in response to the theme of "ritual" for Global Game Jam 2016, Most Sincere Greetings, Esteemed One is a ritual for two players: “The ritual of greeting is important to many societies, both human and otherwise. We recognize one another’s intentions by the complex ways that we greet each other. From changing forms of address to different physical interactions across cultures, there are many ways to say hello. You, too, can discover the many complexities of learning a new greeting ritual. You and a partner will be given a series of instructions that form your new personal greeting and asked to complete this greeting as quickly as possible. To begin, find a partner, and together, clear your minds to allow for calibration. Sound the gong to start." Making use of theatrical props to set the tone of the game such as a metal gong hooked up to a Makey Makey, Most Sincere Greetings, Esteemed One provides a procedurally-generated set of instructions for the players to perform together. For the procedural generation aspects, this game makes use of the Tracery library by Kate Compton (@galaxykate). TENTACLES GROWING EVERYWHERE Puberty is weird and awkward, especially when you happen to be a tentacled space alien! In this incredibly queer mashup of Judy Blume, Babysitters Club, and pulpy sci-fi, join three childhood friends -- Charlie, Jace, and Valentine -- as they write to each other in their online journals about going to new schools, fitting in, crushing on cuties, dealing with adults who just don't understand, and of course, all those bizarre new changes taking place in their bodies. QUING'S QUEST VII: THE DEATH OF VIDEO GAMES A silly, over-the-top power fantasy ~ You are a young monarch of mysterious and indistinct gender, valiantly trying to survive exile from your home planet -- or whatever's left of it since the invasion, anyway. I'm REALLY SORY ABOUT THAT THING I SAID WHEN I WAS TIRED AND/OR HUNGRY "I'm Really Sorry About That Thing I Said When I Was Tired and/or Hungry" is a mostly-autobiographical story of how it was like growing up among several different cultures and not really fitting into any of them. 36 QUESTIONS Remember that list that was going around, where that psychologist came up with 36 questions that make people fall in love? Well, I was just thinking, since we're going to be stuck here for what's probably going to be the rest of our rapidly shortening lives, why don't we try doing that? NEON FICTION A collaborative neon post-it note hypertext installation that is meant to gradually fall apart. Artists and audience alike form branches of narratives, tied together with luminous flourecent-reactive tape. SELFIE SALON An interactive video installation to reflect / distort and document ones self.
