Game Engines For All: Node-Based Materials in Unreal
Led by Prashast Thapan
September 2, 2018
Game engines are intimidating when you don't know what you want to do with them. By learning how to create materials in Unreal Engine, we will understand node-based workflow, laying a foundation for working with Blueprints–Unreal's powerful out-of-the-box visual scripting language.
No prior experience with 3D software or game engines necessary, but definitely a plus. Laptop and mouse encouraged, but not required. If you can bring a computer, consider bringing textures to use and image sequences to animate. Do bring something you can take notes on if you're unable to bring a laptop + mouse.
