In 2012 Anna Anthropy created dys4ia, an autobiographical game about beginning hormone replacement therapy as a trans woman. dys4ia defied many popular perceptions about games, leading some journalists to invent a new genre for it: the "empathy game," a game that allows its players to figuratively walk a mile in someone else's shoes. Now, Anna is giving players the opportunity they've been waiting for for three years: to literally walk a mile in her shoes.
