This month we are discussing the cult classic Psychonauts, hosted by Nyssa. Psychonauts was the brain-child of notable LucasArts point & click adventure auteur, Tim Schafer, after his idea for a scene involving a peyote-fueled trip through the mind in another game was canned and he started his own independent studio, Double Fine Productions. A long-awaited crowd-funded sequel is due next year (following the short VR sequel released in 2017 to tide fans over, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin).
